Announcements/Webpages may contain more than just text. You may insert images, media; use predesigned templates as well as the editor’s formatting capabilities to add interest to your announcements/webpages. You may also link to another website and add attachments.

  • Use Manage Tracking link and select tracking options to track the members who have viewed and acknowledged the announcements.
  • Use Embed or Redirect to a web page link to embed or enter the URL of the web page.
  • Use Click to add attachments link to add attachments.

Insert Template

SchoolSpeak has a number of pre-designed templates that you may use in your announcements/webpages. The templates allow you to add visual interest to your announcements, easily and without requiring any coding knowledge. There are templates related to:

  • School Subjects
  • Holidays
  • Seasons and Themes

To insert a template

  1. Click on the icon shown below on the second row of the editor’s formatting options.Image titleThe Insert Template window will open, with folder names that identify the subject of the templates contained within.Image title
  2. Select the appropriate category. 
  3. Choose a template name to review. 
  4. You may change the displayed template by clicking on other template names or use the up folder to change the category of templates.Image title
  5. Click the Insert button when  you have the template you would like to use.
  6. Enter text, images, and make any alterations that may be needed.Image title
  7. Click the Add  or Update button to save the  announcement/webpages.
