SchoolSpeak Daily Order resource allows schools to coordinate the lunch order process online. Schools may publish the lunch menu with prices online and define different price levels for different types of SchoolSpeak members and/or groups.

When used for Lunch Orders, the daily order resource allows flexibility in configurations and settings to accommodate the way schools run their lunch program. Lunches may be ordered in blocks, daily or as part of the attendance process in the classroom. Schools may allow parents to pay online or via cash/check. Reports allow schools to track orders daily or in a summary view in total or by the group.

Features of Lunch Order Resource

  • Parents may order lunches in blocks, daily (with cutoff time option) or teachers may complete the orders within the attendance resource.
  • Multiple price levels are available to accommodate your school members, for example, a student price and a teacher price
  • Identify and report on students eligible for free and reduced lunch
  • Payment includes online payment, check/cash payment, and teacher lunch money collection
  • Accept prepayment up to a maximum defined by the school
  • Parents may view their student’s current order, order history, the amount spent, payment history, and balance any time.
  • Send balance due reminder by email.
  • Run various reports such as lunch count, detailed orders, payment history, balance report etc.
