You may also opt to add members to the CC, or BCC options. Click the  link to display the Cc and Bcc fields.

To send an email to a group:

1. Locate the Select Groups to add to the mailing box

2. Using the Select groups dropdown, choose the groups that should be included in the To, CC or Bcc fields.

Note: You may select multiple groups at one time by depressing either the Command key (on a MAC) or the CNTL key (on a Windows PC) and the groups that you would like to include. 

The groups that display in that drop down are determined by your school's SchoolSpeak Account Administrator.

3. Identifying the Member type in conjunction with the groups allows the sender to specify the type of person that should be included on this email. For example, to send an email to 4th-grade parents - Choose the 4th-grade group within the Select Group dropdown and then click on the Member type = Parent.

4. Click on Add To, Add to Cc, or Add to Bcc as appropriate.

Note: By default, SchoolSpeak will automatically change the TO to a BCC if there are more than 50 recipients in the TO address. Your school may have changed this number as part of the implementation. If you have any questions, please contact your SchoolSpeak Administrator. 

To send an email to individuals:

  1. Locate the Select members for mailing. 
  2. Select the groups/members and click the Add to ‘To’/Add to ‘Cc’/Add to ‘Bcc’ to add the selected groups/members.
